Hypopressives is a method of exercise involving poses, breathing techniques and breath holds to create low intra-abdominal pressure, whilst strengthening the body. It is widely taught accross Europe to help women regain their core and pelvic floor function after childbirth, as well as a stand alone exercise routine for overall fitness and aesthetics.
Research has shown hypopressives can greatly benefit women with symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic organ prolapse. Claire teaches the "Create lift" programme, a series of the most effective poses selected to benefit almost all women with these symptoms. The programme is suitable for beginners and adaptable for those of different levels of fitness and ability. Created by founder Alice Housman the Create Lift programme has already benefitted many women and helped them regain the life they love without worrying about their pelvic floor.
The Create Lift Programme is taught as one to one sessions to ensure clients learn the poses amd breath work well and can practice effectively between sessions. It involes:
1 hour beginners starter session, followed 10 x 30 minute sessions taught over 14 weeks
Sessions can be arranged via video call, zoom or in-person with Claire
